The July marketing round-up is a fantastic mixture of our established strengths and new capabilities, with beautiful video alongside striking shop floor signage.
It’s been a busy month, but we’re proud of how our efforts have paid off, and our clients are happy too! Here are just some of the highlights of the results.

The MAN Group’s Design & Make Challenge was held at Warwick Manufacturing Group’s state-of-the-art campus on 10th July. The concept was simple; one day, one brief, but many possible outcomes. Students are challenged. Teams from 12 schools or colleges were challenged with designing and making a mechanical device (a small object/vehicle that can travel along a small track, using only the momentum of a swinging pendulum) using just basic tools and materials.
This was a fantastic opportunity for the members of the MAN Group and Start2Finish to be able to capture the challenge in video and blog form and give an insight into such a fun and creative learning day for future manufacturers. This video can now be used as a great promotional resource for future students to view and understand what the day entails, and hopefully encourages even more student involvement in the future!
PP Control & Automation is a long-standing client of ours that in the past year have gone through a brand refresh – mainly website, brochures and stationery. The latest task was to bring the new branding into the factory floor of the premises. We planned a site visit, measured up, took photographs for visuals, then got busy mapping out a design, thinking about the right material and finish that would get the best out of the graphics.
We kept the branding strong and simple, with the flagship so-called coloured ‘plaits’ being used on both walls as you walk on to the shop floor; these were created in gloss vinyl. Another graphic was the redesign of the company ‘roadmap’ structure produced on a frosted acrylic panel, standing off the wall on metal spacers. The last piece of signage was simply the word ‘welcome’ as you walk from reception to the shop floor. We decided to go large and punchy, opting for 3D lettering made from polystyrene with a printed metal look to the face of the letters – this really packs a punch off the red wall as you walk through the premises.
We have future plans to continue to reinforce PP C&A’s brand with large format wall artwork; look forward to seeing our progress in future round-ups!
Corbetts the Galvanizers are the largest independent galvanizer in the UK and supply to numerous markets. Street furniture galvanizing is one area where Corbetts’ expertise is highly valued.
After a sales and marketing strategy session, both with the management team at Corbetts and internally with the S2F Marketing team, it was identified that the street furniture is still an area that holds a great deal of sales opportunity – despite the business’s existing success in that market.
With that in mind, a digital marketing plan was put into place, including email marketing and follow-up telemarketing to street furniture manufacturers, regular social media via personal LinkedIn profiles with a relevant audience and the new company Twitter account. The campaign was built on an in-depth look into why galvanizing is essential to street furniture manufacturers both now and into the future. The research was utilised in an extensive blog piece, utilised as a landing page for all activity.
As a leading solution provider of CNC cutting fluid, mist extraction and fluid management systems, Jemtech needed a new brand to better represent them – and we were happy to provide one.
The new brand has a modern, clean and professional feel, using a droplet shape broken into the 3 areas of the business and incorporating the J of Jemtech within.
The output is reflected in a new website, social media branding, corporate collateral and signage to help Jemtech continue to develop and expand relationships with customers, suppliers and prospects with a new-found confidence in the brand, its values and new direction. You can see the new website for yourself here.
