Recently, the power of social media led to S2F responding to Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice based in nearby Selly Oak, who had put out a notice that they were in need of new personal protective equipment (PPE).

Using our vast network of manufacturing contacts, we swiftly managed to purchase multiple reusable full-face visors from our long serving client Brandauer, one of the largest contract presswork and precision stamping companies in Europe, and part of the MAN Group. We were then able to personally deliver them to the hospice.

Even with the recent drop in temperature, we hope we managed to warm a few hearts when we delivered the 100 visors to the charity team at the hospice. Our brand developer Shawn Kearney met the lovely and grateful Sue Smith, a supporter engagement assistant who took the visors with a great big smile on her face! Sue could not stress enough the importance of donations needed every week for the hospice to keep successfully operating.

It was such a pleasure to help a local hospice at short notice. With the trials and tribulations that many organisations and medical facilities are currently facing, S2F was proud to play a part in protecting others from the threat of COVID-19. We work with some amazing clients doing wonderful things, and we encourage them to keep innovating so that they can do their bit in the battle against the pandemic.
