Graphic design is everywhere in everyday life, from a logo on a shop front, to the menu in a restaurant, to TV advertising. Graphic design consumes us in everything we do, see, feel, and engage with. Graphic design is one of the strong arms of output when it comes to branding and marketing. The design is the make-up on a face, it gives your company a brand, tone, style and feel that a consumer understands and relates to.
At S2F Marketing, we have very skilled people who are dedicated to producing high quality, meaningful design that ensures your branding is on point. No matter the output, from a digital campaign to the humble business card, the design needs to be consistent.
Nowadays, there is a greater need for graphic design to reach into more disciplines that create a higher impact to a larger audience, so we have to design for both print and digital mediums, going from millimetres to pixels, then also consider scale as a lot of graphic design for social media ends up in your hand (on a mobile phone).
We have the skills in-house to design logos which is applied to a majority of our work. We consider colour, scale and memorability. Think of the classic Nike flick, or the McDonald’s ‘M’: both basic in shape, but memorable and scalable across all platforms of social media, large format and print.

Within our team of graphic designers, we have a myriad of disciplines that enable us to address the diverse briefs, brands and ideas our clients ask for. The more we understand the customer’s business and the strategy behind their objectives, the better the output, as we only design with meaningfulness and conviction.
S2F can design a brand using illustrations, icons and manipulated photography, using Photoshop to create a wonderful looking visual that can then be applied to both print and digital format. We ensure the graphic design can be tailored to the platform or specific job because a brochure designed for print is a different beast to a brochure that would be downloaded onto a PC. We must take into consideration the scale of design, word count, design/page setting because reading a printed brochure in your hand is different to scrolling on a PC screen or even a phone. This goes back to how a piece of graphic design is going to be used.

When the team has established the key elements of the graphics, we swiftly begin to evolve these elements into a brand that will establish how the company is perceived, so depending on the strategy and objectives, these characteristics could be quality, sincerity, and trustworthiness for example.
At S2F, we pride ourselves on having a strong understanding of our clients, whether they galvanize steel, clean trains or make wire for springs. This understanding enables us to output a strong, accurate and meaningful set of graphic design elements that communicate the company’s ethos, and above all is appealing to its identified target audience.
