Copywriter/PR Team Leader
To me, the quality of the written word stands out, and can really make or break a brand. Obviously, artwork and logos are vital promotional tools, but if you can inform and entertain at the same time using your words, then you have truly struck gold!
After graduating with a degree in Marketing, I always had an idea that my life path would take me to where I am today. Eventually, the ability to use my knowledge of marketing with my penchant for writing is what has led me to the role of Copywriter at S2F Marketing.
I always knew I had a knack for writing, and wanted to combine my love of the written word with what I had learned in my formative years. Over the years, I’ve had to learn to write about many different topics, so working for a marketing agency made perfect sense for me, where I can write about multiple subjects and “wear different hats” for each client.
As you may have guessed, as Copywriter my role revolves around writing, and lots of it. This can be something as massive as the written content of an entire website, or it could be a one-off social media post, and everything in between. There is plenty for me to keep busy with, and I especially enjoy crafting informative blogs to keep the reader captivated. Hopefully, if you have read this far, I have done my job!
I know it’s an easy answer (and one often used because I’ve proofread everybody’s bios!), but the S2F team is a great one to be a part of. We are a thoroughly professional unit, but we also laugh with each other and provide help to one another whenever it is needed.
I’m a keen runner, usually doing three or four runs a week. I love live music; I play in a 1990s/2000s covers band called Debase Invaders, and I’m always going to gigs and festivals. I’m also a massive (and constantly suffering) Wolverhampton Wanderers fan, much to Warren’s dismay.
My brother lives in Canada so there’s much more there I’d like to explore; so far I’ve only been to Vancouver and I loved it.
Steak, medium rare. I’ll have that with some garlic butter and fries, and you will see me at my happiest.
As mentioned, I’m really into music, so School of Rock is a film that always stands out for me. Other favourites include Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Gladiator and Mike Bassett: England Manager.
